Want to see something really cool?!
Well check this stuff out… it’s like something straight out of a sci-fi movie.
Talented filmmaker Ian Parks captures the strange occurrence out magnetic putty eating neodymium magnets in a series of time-lapse videos.
Magnetic putty actually looks and feels a lot like regular silly putty, but unlike silly putty, it’s infused with iron particles. Here’s a pretty cool use for neodymium magnets you probably never knew about…
When you switch your cell phone to vibrate mode, the rapid movement and corresponding sound that results is caused by a miniature neodymium magnet inside the device.
Pretty cool huh?! There are actually quite a lot of uses for these magnets, but that’s for another time.
