Watch Boston Dynamics’ New Atlas Robot Get Bullied By A Horrible Human

Boston Dynamics has been building terrifying robots for quite some time now, so it’s no surprise that the new version of the Atlas robot good… like scary good. This version can stride through snow, pick things up, open doors, react to being pushed and take over the planet. I’m pretty sure this is how the robot uprising begins….

According to Boston Dynamics, “this new version of Atlas is designed to operate outdoors and inside buildings. It is specialized for mobile manipulation. It is electrically powered and hydraulically actuated. It uses sensors in its body and legs to balance and LIDAR and stereo sensors in its head to avoid obstacles, assess the terrain, help with navigation and manipulate objects. This version of Atlas is about 5′ 9″ tall (about a head shorter than the DRC Atlas) and weighs 180 lbs.”
