Shouldn’t ice cream melt once removed from the freezer? Yeah I thought so too. This all started with a report from WCPO Cincinnati.
A local woman, Christie Watson, noticed her son had left a Great Value ice cream sandwich outside for a period of 12 hours in 80 degree heat. Here’s the kicker, it never melted.
According to a Walmart spokeswoman, Danit Marquardt, said “Ice cream melts based on the ingredients, including cream. Ice cream with more cream will generally melt at a slower rate, which is the case with our Great Value ice cream sandwiches.”
However, the ice cream sandwiches have a ton of additives, according to Business Insider.
So yeah, I probably won’t be eating these anymore…. Who really knows what garbage is inside these. Make sure to share this on Facebook. h/t Huffington Post
