We all have that friend or relative whose head is filled with useless facts.
While these facts may seem useless to some, they actually offer concise and enlightening facts about various topics, such as history, nature, and science.
For instance, did you know that before alarm clocks there were candle clocks that would burn a set number of hours. You would basically place a nail in the candle at the desired time length and when it melted to that point, the nail would clank on the metal holder at the bottom alerting you.
Did you know a snail takes 115 days to travel a mile? That’s nearly half a freaking year!
Don’t take these facts for granted, they might just come in handy the next time you’re around your friends or when you just need to kickstart a conversation.
