This Time-Lapse Of A Plant Seed Drilling Itself Into The Ground Looks So Cool

This insane time-lapse shows exactly how awesome mother nature can be. The seed is known as the Erodium cicutarium (stork’s bill or filaree), and once it makes contact with water it will drill itself into the ground in order for the seed to sprout. If you watch closely you can actually see the seed reverse itself several times to bury itself father into the ground.

This is beyond amazing!! Let us know what you think and make sure to give this a share on Facebook before you go. (h/t Twisted Sifter)
