How do you define beauty? Ask that question to different people and I guarantee you will get a hundred different answers. Esther Honig is a journalist who decided to send photos to editors in different countries around the world, simply asking them to “make me beautiful.” Not much changed with her face, just some subtle differences.
However, when biracial woman Priscilla Yuki Wilson replicated the same experiment, she got back something completely different. Her appearance changed dramatically.

“I am living in a culture that’s still adjusting to my kind of face,” said Wilson. “I was taught that my natural self did not comply with conventional standards set forth by society, saying fairer skin is better, straighter hair is more attractive, and that skinny tastes good.”
