This natural rock formation located in Hyden Wildlife Park, Australia is known as ‘Wave Rock’, and just by looking at it you can probably imagine why. This amazing natural formation stands roughly 46 feet high and 360 feet long. The wave is made from granite inselberg, and is thought to be formed by concentrated chemical weathering around the base by groundwater.
Wave Rock attracts around 140,000 tourists every year. People often take pictures pretending to surf or wiping out on the wave…. While other ride their bikes on it using the natural formation of the rock like a giant half pipe. Check out some of the pictures below.
