Talk about incredible dedication…. A Super Mario fan named Kjetil Nordin, of Norwegian, spent a mind-boggling six years and over 800 hours making a blanket of the map from Super Mario 3. The blanket is about seven feet long by five feet wide, and incredibly took 100 balls of yarn.
According to Kjetil, “when the water was half way finished I saw that I had chosen the wrong shade of blue. It was almost purple, and very ugly, so I had to undo all of it. That took an extra week.” Referring to the large moat around the castle.

Pretty insane huh?! Hopefully he’ll sell it, because I would be the first one in line to buy it! Make sure to give this a share on Facebook before you go. (h/t Laughing Squid)
