The World’s Slowest Rube Goldberg Machine Is Over-Engineering At Its Finest

Here’s another crazy and complicated Rube Goldberg machine designed and built by YouTuber Bob Partington… Only this time it’s incredibly S-L-O-W, and even that’s an understatement. It’s being billed as the world’s slowest Rube Goldberg machine, taking an excruciating six weeks to finish from where the ball started to where it ended.

So what exactly a Rube Goldberg machine?! Well, it’s basically is an invention that is deliberately over-engineered to perform a simple task in a complicated fashion, usually by way of a chain reaction. It’s named after American cartoonist and inventor Rube Goldberg.
