“The Meissner effect is the expulsion of a magnetic field from a superconductor during its transition to the superconducting state.”  The nitrogen in this video looks as though it is floating but it is actually magnetically locked into three dimensions. “In a weak applied field, a superconductor ‘expels’ nearly all magnetic flux.” …… bla bla bla I know, just check it out below.
