One artist dealing with schizophrenia is challenging all we know about the stigma by recreating her hallucinations through insanely fascinating works of art.
Kate is an 18-year-old artist who was diagnosed with schizophrenia at 17. She shares her experiences with the world through her works of art to help her cope.
She says she sometimes hears voices, odd and random sounds, sees bugs, faces, and even disembodied eyes and her art is a direct reflection of it all.
All of her intense emotions and experiences are transferred directly to paper giving Kate a moment of catharsis.
Living with schizophrenia is often debilitating. Through her vulnerable series, Kate reveals what it’s really like dealing with schizophrenia.
