This clever and inventive ongoing series by French photographer Laurent Lavender has one requirement for its subjects: play with the moon.
And that is precisely what they did, turning it into fascinating yet simple objects. Some turned the moon into a balloon, a bowl of ice cream, and even lassoed a waning crescent.
The photos were turned into a calendar as well as a book of poetry (in French).
