Have you ever looked at an object and thought, “That looks like a face?” That’s actually a psychological phenomenon called pareidolia.
This occurs when a person views random items as something significant, for example, seeing faces in clouds or on ceilings.
The most common and recurring examples are perceived images of animals, faces, or objects in cloud formations, the “man in the moon”, the “moon rabbit”, and hidden messages within recorded music played in reverse or at higher- or lower-than-normal speeds.
