A “sharpie art car” requires immense precision. So, before you go out and attempt this, be sure you have a steady drawing had. This project began in 2010 when Collen Kelton was searching for a GT-R to purchase.
While he was looking for it in a midnight purple, he settled for a silver 1995 Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R. The bumper was a little scratched but that didn’t prevent Collen’s wife, artist Allison LaValley, from repairing it in the cleverest of ways using a black sharpie and some funky design work.
In total, it took Allison 15 hours to completely redesign the exterior of the car.
After Allison completed the one of a kind paint job, Collen added extra custom parts to the car and documented the entire remodeling process.
