Breathtaking Time-Lapse Video Of Our Galaxy Taken Atop Spain’s Highest Mountain

Mount Teide is the highest summit point in Spain and the highest above sea level in the islands of the Atlantic.

Not only is it known for its massive size (24,600ft) from its base level, it’s the third highest volcano after Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa in Hawaii. Mount Teide is also home to Teide Observatories, one of the world’s best.

TSO Photography created a list of must-see locations on the mountain to capture this incredible imagery of the ethereal landscape and night sky from atop Mount Teide titling the film, “Mountain.” At 00:32, you can even spot the Milky Way.
