Watching an iceberg break apart is not something you get to witness often. It’s truly an entrancing phenomenon – once you see it, it’s one of the most captivating, vivid and surreal moments you’ll ever experience. This takes place in Ilulissat, formerly Jakobshavn in western Greenland 250 km north of the Arctic Circle. The iceberg starts off with a low rumble as it begins to shift among the freezing black waters and then is quickly swallowed by the large mass of water underneath it.
