Here’s What It’s Like To Descend Down The World’s Tallest Water Slide

Last Updated August 18th, 2018 This is the Verrückt at Schlitterbahn Waterpark in Kansas City, Kansas, where people can pretty much plummet straight down a 168- foot 7-inch tall slide. It’s the world’s tallest water slide and will even blast you over a second “mini” 50 foot slide.

It opened up in Spring 2014 kicking Brazil’s Insano to second place which measures in at 134. 5 ft high allowing riders to reach speeds of 62.5 mph. We’re guessing the Verrückt goes even faster than 62.5 mph

Verrückt opened in the summer of 2014 and was shut down in 2016 after the death of 12-year-old Caleb Schwan. The ride is set to be torn down completely later this year. You can read more about the tragic accident here.
