Tatsuya Tanaka works with miniature 28 mm plastic people. The tiny men and women are shown interacting with everyday objects in rather peculiar ways turning regular pasta into a good slide and broccoli branches into perfect swings.
Tanaka says his work began four years ago when, “The idea came from a comment on Instagram, in which a follower wrote, ‘I want to see the miniature calendar everyday‘,” Tanaka said in an online interview. “So, while I answered by posting something daily, the thought of the project was too good for me to quit.”
