Architect Builds Glass Floor Bathroom Over A 15 Story Elevator Shaft

If you’re afraid of heights, this penthouse with a glass floor bathroom is definitely not for you! Designed by Guadalajara-based studio Hernandez Silva Arquitectos in a 1970s Mexican colonial building, this glass floor bathroom sits perched upon a 15 story lift shaft.

A general consensus on the bathroom is that “…it will literally scare the sh*t out of you.” The terrifying space was originally intended for a second elevator that was never installed, so naturally it became a powder room (because, why not?!).
