An embryo is an unborn or unhatched offspring in the process of development. This neat video documents what happens when ink is injected into a 72 hour-old chicken embryo. By doing this, you can get a visual of the beating heart and the vasculature.
This is amazing
A window is cut into an egg to expose the embryo and then placed under a stereo microscope. The video hails from Nikon’s Small World in Motion competition where it won 1st place.
