Jaw-Dropping Sand Sculpture Of A Life-Size Elephant Playing Chess With A Mouse

This incredible sand sculpture of an elephant playing chess with a mouse has the internet in awe.

Chessie Trunkston, the elephant, and Hershel Higginbottom, the mouse, are on display under the Sanderson Lincoln Pavillion in downtown Carefree, Arizona until the end of August.

Carved by artist and sculpture Sue Beatrice and Ray Villafane, the super detailed elephant, chess board, and mouse are just one of the many works of art this talented duo has put together.

This isn’t the first time we’ve featured Beatrice and Villafane, check out more of their work here and here.

To check out more of their artwork check out Ray’s Villafane Studios and Sue’s All Natural Arts.
