Known simply as the Atlantic Ocean Road (Norwegian: Atlanterhavsveien), this five mile stretch of road is pure insanity. It’s honestly nothing like you have ever seen before.
The road connects a series of islands with extreme amounts of twists, turns, ups, and downs.
While the road is dangerous, it offers some of the most beautiful views of waves crashing against the rocks, mountains and the Norwegian Seas.
The road was originally supposed to be a railway line in the early 20th century, but was ultimately abandoned.
It spans five miles along the Norwegian Sea
Driving on it frozen… well that’s another story
Check out this video below from Ford Europe as Steve Sutcliffe takes the Ford GT along on the most picturesque road in Norway, the iconic Atlantic Ocean Road.
