Extremely Shortened Versions Of Classic Books For Lazy People

You know all those literary classics you’ve heard of and have been meaning to read but somehow you never get around to it?

Yet the titles remain familiar and you feel sort of left out because you haven’t read them?

Eh, don’t worry about it; we all feel this way.

John Atkinson, a cartoonist, has decided to illustrate the frustrations we have with some of these literary classics by reducing them to humorous short summaries.

We can’t really fault people for not reading them all.

Don Quixote is around 1,000 pages while War and Peace is over 1,400 pages.

Unless you’re serious about conquering these classics, you’ll have to go by this cartoon – or spark notes. (More info: John Atkinson) (h/t BoredPanda)
