YouTube Gamer ‘Kootra’ Gets Raided By SWAT Team While Live Streaming ‘Counter Strike’

Check out this craziness that happened to popular YouTube gamer Jordan Mathewson (Kootra) today. While he was playing ‘Counter Strike’ live streaming online, SWAT bursts through the doors ordering him to get on the ground. The entire incident was captured live.

You can hear Mathewson say, “they’re clearing rooms. What in the world? I think we’re getting swatted.” If you’re not familiar with what swatting is, it’s basically a prank where someone calls in a hostage situation or active shooter at the persons location.

It’s apparently quite common and happens frequently, especially to gamer’s online. The prankster can get your IP address and track down your location, that’s what seemed to have happened to Mathewson.
