Andy Belsey has spent years precisely crafting WWI trenches used on the Western Front from 1914 to 1918.
Everything from tiny packs of folding cigarettes and uniforms, not a single detail is missed by Besley.
Modeling nine sections on various blogs including MilitaryModeling.com (that website has since been closed down — follow Andy’s work over on his website), Belsey has recreated the same military techniques using barbed wire, mines, and obstacles set forth by soldiers in order to keep them shielded from enemies and safe during bad weather.
Belsey has also shared a timeline of his work throughout the years as well as tutorials on how he creates the model and brings everything together.
