If you don’t have a good core, then planks are a pretty difficult exercise. They look fairly simple, but trust me it’s not easy.
A plank is basically where you start in the push-up position on your arms and hold it for 30 seconds to a minute, or longer if you’d like. The best time I’ve been able to hold the plank has been roughly two minutes, or somewhere around that time.
Well, Mao Weidong, a member of Beijing’s SWAT team has completely destroyed my record, and any other record for that matter, by holding a plank position for 4 hours and 28 minutes. An official Guinness World Record.
