When you mix a grim topic and roller coasters, you get Urbona’s Euthanasia Coaster. Julijonas Urbonas designed this “fun” way to die coaster of death.
How it works is that it sends passengers 1,600 feet up into the air, then plummets downwards from the coaster’s peak toward seven loops pushing speeds of up to 220 miles per hour.
This causes a crushing 10g’s of force onto the passengers. The passengers will then die of cerebral hypoxia when they slowly lose consciousness, almost like falling asleep.
Check out the video for yourselves and tell us what you think.
For now though, the Euthanasia Coaster remains at a 1:500 scale model. Urbonas doesn’t see it being built in full until, and quote “…the future where the politics of technologies are much less centralized and more creative, diversified and democratic.”
