“Don’t play with your food kids!” is probably what most of us heard throughout childhood. For some reason, there was a weird fascination with the thought of playing with it than actually eating it. Don’t tell that to Japanese artist Makoto Asano though because he’s creating masterpieces by, playing with food.
He’s carved actual faces into Häagen-Dazs ice cream using nothing but the plastic spoons that so often accompany our favorite ice cream. Each face is created with a different flavor of ice cream using only the toppings and sauces to add features to the whimsical expressions.
“My hobby is making ice cream laugh,” Asano wrote on his Instagram account. You can go there for more photos and even video clips. Be sure to give this a share with your friends on Facebook before you go. For more stories, subscribe to our e-mail list. (h/t odditycentral)
