Photography Wizard Bends Reality To Create These Beautiful Surreal Worlds

According to it’s definition, surrealism art is a cultural movement that began in the early 1920,s, and is best known for its visual artworks and writings.

The aim was to “resolve the previously contradictory conditions of dream and reality”.

Erick Johansson is the Swedish photographer behind these amazing and surreal art pieces.

Using a combination of photography, raw materials, and stellar digital editing, Johansson has captured special moments and ideas.

“I don’t capture moments, I capture ideas. To me photography is just a way to collect material to realize the ideas in my mind. I get inspired by things around me in my daily life and all kinds of things I see.” said Johansson.

“Although one photo can consist hundreds of layers I always want it to look like it could have been captured. Every new project is a new challenge and my goal is to realize them as realistic as possible.”
