This Normal-Looking House Is Actually A Renaissance Palace In Disguise

Don’t be fooled by this Newport, Oregon, home’s boring façade. While the two-car garage home with its white siding and yellow bricked arched garages wouldn’t exactly attract anyone’s attention, its interior screams the polar opposite.

As soon as you step foot into the eccentric home, you step foot into 14th century Renaissance. The home boasts of thick doors, stained-glass windows from old English churches, and historic pieces that date back to earlier centuries.

If you’re wondering why any American suburban family would want this in their home, they don’t. The owner of the home is the Right and Honorable Dowager Countess of Shannon, Almine Barton. She purchased the suburban home back in 1979 and is now putting it on the market for $400,000.
