Here’s a really cool concept that’s still in the works, it’s called the Window Socket. It’s a portable solar-powered electrical socket that you can stick to any window to harness solar energy. The energy is then stored in a battery which can be used to charge small devices like a cell phone.
It takes anywhere from five to eight hours to charge, and can last up to 10 hours. It’s not powerful enough to power something bigger, but it’s nice to have when you need to power small mobile gadgets. It’s was designed by Kyuho Song & Boa Oh and is still currently waiting to be mass produced. Only time will tell.
