Artist Turns People’s Deepest Darkest Fears Into Vividly Disturbing Comics

Imagine our deepest fear turned into vivid images.  Would it make you feel better or worse?

Some of our deepest fears are irrational and come from scary movies we’ve seen, deep down in our psyches, or childhood tales told by our parents.

Illustrator Fran Krause asked people to reveal their most irrational fears in order to turn them into comics.

These are dark fears that some people carry with them throughout their entire lives. The project, which started with Krause‘s own phobias, now features comics of more than a hundred of the craziest and darkest fears readers sent him.
