Making A Stove From A Single Log Might Just Be The Coolest Outdoor Hack Ever

If you’re an avid camper, or just someone that loves being outdoors you’re really about to enjoy this.

It’s known as the Swedish Fire Torch, and it’s a really simple outdoor cooking technique that uses a single log like a stove top.

The process is actually quite simple, all you need is wither and ax or chainsaw, a three to four foot tall log (taller the better), paper to get the fire started, and a lighter.

Once you’re finished it works pretty damn well. Check out the step by step guide below.

Start with a log

1

Chainsaw or ax to make the cuts

2

Cut it into eight segments

3

Stick some paper into the cracks

4

Light

5

Use the base as a stove top

6

And there you have it!

You can also use an ax or hatchet if you don’t have a chainsaw handy
