Weatherman Perfectly Nails Pronouncing Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

When you watch this video you might think it’s a prank at first, but it’s completely legit. U.K. meteorologist Liam Dutton was explaining the weather in one of the warmest towns in eastern England… Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.

Sure, it sounds like a mistake made on a teleprompter or keyboard but this is a real place. The town of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch is in Wales and Dutton completely nails the pronunciation effortlessly while delivering the weather that day (in case you’re wondering, it was a pleasant 70 degrees that day).

When translated into English, the town’s Welsh name is “St. Mary’s Church in the hollow of the white hazel near the rapid whirlpool of Llantysilio of the red cave.”
