Cherry Blossom Tree Made From Over 800,000 LEGO Breaks Guinness World Record

The world’s largest life-sized cherry blossom tree made of LEGO bricks just bloomed and it’s fantastic. And by bloom, we obviously mean assembled by wickedly talented sculptors.

The 14-foot tall and 5-foot wide cherry blossom tree sits perched at Legoland Japan in Nagoya, Japan, and is the largest LEGO brick cherry blossom tree in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The enormous tree took a whopping 881,470 bricks and 6,500 hours to assemble making for a spectacular site.

The LEGO tree boasts of vibrant and chunky blossoms with lanterns and a grassy green base with an impressively sturdy brown trunk. It was first built in the LEGO factory in the Czech Republic before it was transferred to Japan and weighs in at a hefty 7,348 lbs!
