Many of us will never be bitten by a venomous snake, thank goodness. However, if you ever wondered what happens to your blood once it comes in contact with venom, this video will show you exactly that. What you see is one drop of viper venom being added to blood, and then congealing almost instantly. It’s actually quite unsettling to say the least….
According to IFLS, “researchers are interested in collecting viper venom for the development of antivenins and also hope to use the coagulating properties to develop medication for trauma and surgical patients from bleeding out.”
