On June 14, 1775, the Continental Army (led by the great George Washington) was created by the Continental Congress and served as a unified symbol for the colonies in their fight against Great Britain. My Oh my, things have certainly changed since then.

The army’s wardrobe served its purpose at that time and has since, been completely redesigned. As the U.S. army celebrated its 240th birthday this year, a touching video was created that shows the evolution of our military uniforms.
