Canadian artist Maskull Lasserre create astonishing works of art out of tree trunks.
His latest installation, Schrodinger’s Wood, showcases the tree trunk of an Ash tree where the middle has been carved to resemble a splitting rope.
While you see the rope nearly holding itself together it’s hard not to look at Lasserre’s with utter anticipation and anxiety.
The artist also transforms old carousel horses, ax handles, and dough rollers.
