Jigsaw puzzles have truly withstood the test of time. The first one ever was produced by engraver and cartographer John Spilsbury in 1760. They were usually anywhere from 300-pices to 750-pieces and the largest commercial puzzle was 32,256 pieces. Apparently, they continued to grow in pieces because in this time lapse video, this jigsaw puzzle of Wildlife by Educa is 33,600 pieces.
Think that’s crazy… well the puzzle cost roughly 600 bucks. Like what you’re reading? Be sure to give this post a thumbs up and a share with your friends on Facebook before you go. (h/t Reddit)
