Who knew melting aluminum rims could be so hypnotizing?! YouTuber Darrin Scott is showing us how melting aluminum rims is done.
As soon as the aluminum rims reach the fiery lava, they immediately turn into a soft mush. Since around 5,000 B.C., Persian potters made the strongest versions of aluminum from clay which contained aluminum oxide.
These aluminum compounds were once used by Ancient Egyptians and Babylonians for fabric dyes, cosmetics, and medicines.
Now, aluminum is used for general things like transportation, food and beverage containers, and packaging.
Hasta la vista, baby
